Academy Gaming Weekly #1 Victors: Bold Purpose Gaming

Bold Purpose Gaming came through with a flawless performance in the first Academy Gaming weekly tournament for Overwatch this past Tuesday. Taking down Far From Good in the finals 4-0 using our new scoring method, they seemed nearly untouched by most of these teams. Their dominating performances on Hollywood and King’s Row throughout the night were by and large the best, proving themselves worthy victors.

Next week we will feature a viewer-based prize pool, donations of which are gathered via Matcherino. Although no prize pool is guaranteed, this is an excellent way for teams and fans to throw something into the pot. This will feature another 16 team single-elimination bracket, only with different maps this time around for the first two rounds, with the semifinals and finals being drafted by the teams.
