[NA] AG Weekly #13 Results

T

he Academy Gaming Weekly #13 was another night with a large turnout hitting the 10 team mark. Although there were no clear favorites in the tournament we did have several returning teams from previous weeklies such as Drop The Sauce, Orgulho do Brasil, Blue Shell, Gods Insurance Policy, and AE Sinergia. There were some big upsets in this tournament as Orgulho do Brasil managed to take out Drop The Sauce, the overall #1 seed, in a 2-1 series where they met up with Indestructible Teddy Bears who ending up crushing them 2-0 and moving onto the finals in the upper half of the bracket.

In the lower half we had the only free agent team, Entropy who was led by Olrun, that managed to take out the #2 seed Blue Shell 2-0 and move on to play Well This Is Awkard in the semi-finals. In this series we had some extremely close matches but Entropy managed to come out on top with a 2-1 victory and moved on to face Indestructible Teddy Bears in the finals. In this match-up, despite Entropy being a free agent team, they put up some good fights and close matches but the Teddy Bears managed to win it 2-0 and took home 10,000 gems.
