The Future of Academy Gaming

Hi everyone, just wanting to give an update on the future of Academy Gaming and where it is heading.

Academy Gaming was originally a guild and tournament to help better PvPers and has come so far over the past 8 months. However, there has definitely been a large shift in our priorities and just want to clear up where we’ll be heading in future months.

At this current point in time the Academy Gaming guild is not active, in that we don’t have a direction for it. It’s use in the future is not certain due to our new focus on educating players and bringing them together in other ways.

With that being said, we are working on bringing out new content to the AG website at a much quicker pace. With this new focus we hope to bring a vast amount of knowledge and expertise to those that wish to learn.

We also realize that creating teams and finding them as individual players has become increasingly difficult over the last year. We are going to bring a new tool into the scene for any and all players to use which will allow them to find new players with certain criteria. More information on this will be released at a later date.

Lastly, we are working on bringing a stronger presence to our Youtube channel. Having said this, a chunk of our upcoming articles will feature videos. We hope this will also bring a wider audience to Academy Gaming and let them discover what we have to offer.

We hope with these changes we can continue to help build the Guild Wars 2 PvP community. As always please feel free to leave us a comment below or use our contact form for any questions.
